LIFT Osan is organized as a nonprofit entity and shall be operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, in accordance with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (Code), or corresponding sections of any future federal tax code. The specific purpose of LIFT Osan shall be to raise funds through the operation of the Osan Thrift Shop to sponsor educational programs, charitable activities, and outreach projects benefitting service members, families, and civilians stationed at Osan Air Base and other United States Forces Korea (USFK) installations.
