Lift Osan Scholarship Program 

Each applicant must meet the following requirements:

1. Any Active Duty/Retired Military, DoD Civilian, United States Embassy and Invited Contractor, or their dependents assigned to, or affiliated with, Osan Air Base between 1 July 2025 and 31 March 2026. The dependent is also eligible if the member became deceased while assigned to Osan Air Base and the dependent remained in the Osan area.

2. The applicant must be studying at an accredited college, university, or training program in the June 2026- November 2026 academic year.

3. Applicants and Sponsor must possess a valid Military/DoD Identification Card. If active duty, applicants are their own sponsor.

4. The applicant must be a graduating senior in the top 20% of their graduating high school class or have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better (GPA based on a 4.0 scale). Applicants must provide SAT or ACT scores if applicable.

a. The applicant must provide their cumulative GPA at the end of the first semester of the 2025-2026 school year.

Continued Education Lift Osan Application ​

Each applicant must meet the following requirements:

1. Any Active Duty/Retired Military, DoD Civilian, United States Embassy and Invited Contractor, or their dependents assigned to, or affiliated with, Osan Air Base between 1 July 2025 and 31 March 2026. The dependent is also eligible if the member became deceased while assigned to Osan Air Base and the dependent remained in the Osan area.

2. The applicant must be studying at an accredited college, university, or training program in the June 2025- November 2026 academic period (this can include summer and fall semesters for 2025.)

3. Applicants and Sponsor must possess a valid Military/DoD Identification Card. If active duty, applicants are their own sponsor.

4. Grade Point Average (GPA) eligibility based on a 4.0 scale.

   1. If the applicant is currently or was a prior student at a university or college, the applicant must provide a cumulative GPA from their most recent accredited institution.

   2. If the applicant is currently or was a prior student at a university or college within the last five years, their cumulative GPA must be 2.5 or greater.

   3. If the applicant has not been previously enrolled in university or college, then the applicant must provide a copy of their high school diploma or GED

Lift Osan Community Grant Program

Lift Osan Club is honored to offer financial assistance to our community on base through our Community Grant Program. Our Community Grant Committee reviews grant applications on a monthly basis (grants are awarded the following month). If you have any questions, please contact the Community Grant Committee at:  community@liftosan.com

Important Information:

• Requests are only accepted and considered between September 1st, 2025 – May 15th, 2026.

• Checks will be issued from October 15th – June 15th.

• Requests received after an event has happened will NOT be considered.

• The committee will NOT distribute funds for the purchase of ALCOHOL.

• Funds must be spent for the intended purpose as approved  on the request form.

• We reserve the right to audit your receipts for any and all purchases.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you offer funds for holiday parties?

Yes, we do; requests MUST be submitted by October 15, 2026 to be considered. 

​Does the community grants committee accept requests all year long? 

No, Community Grant requests are accepted from October 15 – May 15th. Checks for these requests are issue from October 15th – June 15th.

Who can apply for the community grant? 

- Private Organizations authorized to operate on post or in the process of becoming authorized to operate on post are eligible to receive grants.

- Osan AB Clubs (this includes but not limited to squadron booster clubs, sports clubs, school clubs etc).
